The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, directed a team of Saudi consultants headed by Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Musnad, a pediatric cardiac catheterization consultant, to perform 45 cardiac catheterization operations for children in Sudan, in cooperation with the Madani Heart Center.
Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Musnad stressed that the frequent visits to the center contributed to reducing the waiting list of patients for operations, describing the Madani Heart Center as distinguished, with skilled doctors and technicians, and an attractive infrastructure, calling for providing support and backing to become a beacon for heart treatment and surgery in Africa.
In a special celebration on this occasion, the Director of the Madani Heart Center, Dr. Salah Mustafa, honored the doctors of the league who carried out the operations, and thanked the league for providing cardiac catheterization services and providing health care for children.
It is worth mentioning that in May of last year 2021, the Muslim World League performed 80 cardiac catheterization operations for children led by a team of Saudi consultants headed by Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Musnad, a pediatric cardiac catheterization consultant.
At a cost of 500,000 Saudi riyals, at the expense of the league, it includes all medical consumables and supplies.
