The Muslim World League condemned the terrorist attack that occurred in western Sinai in Egypt, which claimed lives and left wounded among armed forces’ personnel. His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, stressed that this heinous attack will only increase Egypt’s determination and strength to confront and eradicate terrorism.

His Excellency stressed, on behalf of the MWL and its international councils and bodies, full solidarity with Egypt in its war against terrorism, and against challenges that threaten its security and stability. He expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, Egypt’s leadership, government and people, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
