In the period (25-29) of this September, the International Muslim World League Organization in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia implemented a therapeutic cardiac catheterization project for children in cooperation with the Boudmadani Heart Center targeting 50 children from all over Sudan in the presence of a delegation that included a number of specialist doctors and nurses specialized in the field of catheterization and consultants from Health Care Association headed by Dr. Abd al-Rahman al-Misnad, a cardiac catheterization consultant.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Mustafa Muhammad Sheikh Idris, Director General of the Ministry of Health, praised the great services provided by the center in light of the exceptional health conditions that the state experienced in the previous period.
Al-Mustafa assured the importance of creating a mechanism to support the health system in the state and said: “Activating the health system support council with the participation of all partners is one of the effective solutions to advance the health field and achieve the principle of partnerships stipulated in the eighth item of the sustainable development goals.” And he valued the league’s initiative, which came across a health facility whose management members are characterized by cooperation and high energy.
Dr. Salah El-Din Mustafa, Director General of the Center, stressed his administration’s constant endeavor to attract camps and charitable projects due to the high costs of heart operations of various types, and said “The relationship with the Saudi brothers is an eternal one, and we hope that it will continue in order to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people.”
The Director General of the Center appealed to the federal and state health and the relevant authorities to participate in the development of infrastructure in the center to encourage the recruitment of camps and treatment projects, and revealed the completion of the last stages of the oxygen station, which cost 120 thousand dollars with the support of benefactors, and the start of the operational opening of the intensive care department for children during the period coming.
The head of the delegation, Dr. Abd al-Rahman al-Misnad, a cardiac catheterization consultant, explained that giving back to Sudan and the Sudanese was one of the most important goals of this humanitarian work, stressing that the readiness of the center and the seriousness of the working cadres were a catalyst for work and contributed a lot to facilitating the tasks, and revealed the league’s intention to organize many charitable projects for cardiac operations includes human development and training in this field.
Mr. Mohamed Khair Ali, director of the league’s office in Sudan, referred to the charitable initiatives and programs that had been implemented in the previous period, and revealed that it had started the opening of an integrated water station and the distribution of 100 coolers in implementation of the will of the late Muzna Seif El-Din, in addition to the implementation of many programs and projects to enlighten the dangers of illegal immigration.
