His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, stressed that the celebration of the National Day represents the memory of the homeland in its most important historical transformations, noting that these transformations made the glory of the homeland and established its pillars and raised its importance in the world.
Al-Issa said during an interview with the program “Al-Afaq” on the “MBC” screen: “The celebration of the National Day renews the joy of this blessing and its great good. Joy for the homeland means joy for the entity and self. When you are happy for the homeland and loyal to it, you are actually happy for yourself because you are the homeland and the homeland is you.”
His Excellency pointed out that “the majesty and beauty of this joy lies in strengthening national cohesion under its wise leadership, and in the shadows of its care, directives, and constant vigilance for the good of the nation.”
Al-Issa added: “As patriotism is, citizenship is, and it is not hidden that the honorable people of the country are in fact those who race in the arena of its future and in the arena of its hopes, and just as the homeland has a right to you, it is at the same time a right on you.”
The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League said: “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is, shortly, the Arab and Islamic identity, whether in terms of its eternal Islamic message, or its authentic Arab metal. It is well-known and acknowledged by every fair person, even among non-Muslims, and it is found in books and neutral witnesses of intellectual, historical and other figures that accurately recounted the reality with its proofs and examples.
Al-Issa stressed that the Kingdom is the unifying Qibla for all Muslims, and it is their comprehensive reference to which they love their hearts and minds, and it is the one who speaks right in the name of Islam, out of the great entitlement to serve the Two Holy Mosques.
