The Muslim World League, on behalf of its councils, assemblies and international bodies, condemned the risky actions taken to evacuate Palestinian homes in Jerusalem and impose sovereignty over them by force.
the league stressed that such a risk further complicates the chances of achieving a just and comprehensive peace for the Palestinian case.
The statement by His Excellency the Secretary-General of the league, Chairman of the Islamic Scholars’ Association, Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdikarim Al-Issa, noted that any unilateral action would not serve the peaceful course of the issue and should be its only option for a just and comprehensive solution; on the basis of the relevant United Nations resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
The statement continued to condemn all risks that use the logic of imposing will by force as a bet that is strongly rejected by Islam, Arabs and internationally, and which loses “in all its conditions” as undermining peace efforts.
