Riyadh:

The Muslim World League expressed its deep concern over the escalation of military tensions in the El Fasher region of North Darfur.

In a statement to the General Secretariat, the Association reaffirmed its stand with Sudan and its dear people, calling on all parties to prioritize the supreme interest of their country and conduct a serious and effective dialogue, and commitment to the outcomes of the “Jeddah talks”, to reach a comprehensive political solution that preserves the unity of Sudan and achieves the aspirations of its people in peace and stability.
