Islamabad:
His Excellency the prime minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif, has received at his office in the capital Islamabad, His Excellency the secretary general of the Muslim World League, chairman of the Muslim Scholars ‘ Association, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, who is currently visiting Pakistan at an official invitation from his country.
The meeting discussed a number of topics in the Islamic arena, as the president praised the efforts of the association in this field, in particular its initiatives in gathering the word of scholars, the latest of which was the international conference: “building bridges between Islamic sects”, which was hosted by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the kind patronage of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect him, continuing in this context, by stressing that Pakistan attaches the utmost importance to its strong brotherly relations with the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is rooted in common faith and Islamic Values Common.
His Excellency commended the efforts of the International Association in clarifying the realities of Islam and confronting Islamophobic practices and discourses, expressing his appreciation for the efforts of the association in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in various fields related to the message of the association, and stressing Pakistan’s continued support for the association in all its efforts, inside and outside Pakistan.
