The Muslim World League (MWL) condemned the terrorist attack that targeted mass transportation vehicles in the Somali region of Hiran, causing a number of deaths and injuries.
His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, reiterated in a statement the MWL and the entire Islamic world’s rejection of extremism, violence and terrorism in all forms and in all spots, and stressed the MWL’s support for efforts to confront this ideology and curb the brutal crimes generated by it.
On behalf of the MWL and its international bodies and councils, His Excellency stressed full solidarity with Somalia in its war against terrorism, and standing against everything that threatens its security and stability, expressing sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Somalia in general, asking Allah Almighty to grant the injured speedy recovery.
